Capo Coda Cavallo
Villa Iris and Villa Salina offer some of the best attractions in the North East of Sardinia.
Capo Coda Cavallo is a peninsula south of Olbia and near San Teodoro in northeastern Sardinia. You’re rarely alone here in the high season, because the peninsula’s beautiful sandy beaches are just too beautiful. That is why we recommend that you rent a particularly comfortable and well-equipped villa with a swimming pool.
In the shallow salt lake of Salina Bamba it is possible to watch flamingos all year round and rent sunbeds and rafts in the beautiful sandy beach Spiaggia della Farfalla.
Swimming is best practiced at the easternmost foot of the peninsula, Punta Est. Thanks to its position, it is always a protected place from any wind direction. The water on Cala Brandinchi bay is so wonderfully shallow that you can even imagine yourself in the Caribbean with a gorgeous view. Even the long bay of Lu Impostu, despite the occasional wind that blows there, is of great beauty.
The area around Capo Coda Cavallo is a perfect destination for a beach holiday and it is possible to snorkel here.
The coast of Capo Coda Cavallo is as if studded with sparkling jewels, pristine beaches to choose from: La Cinta, Isuledda, Salina Bamba, Porto Istana, Lu Impostu and Cala Brandichini are just some of the many breathtaking beaches just a few minutes drive from the Villa . The lush green of the Mediterranean scrub gives contrast to the soft blue of the azure lagoon of Salina Bamba beach.
The village of Porto Coda Cavallo is a small, well-kept residential center that offers security, tranquility, but also many comforts such as a market, a beauty center, a pharmacy, shops, a bar and a pizzeria, all surrounded by large green spaces. Guests will have free access to tennis courts and soccer fields. There is a small square inside the village that periodically offers some entertainment and theme nights.
A transport service is available for guests wishing to travel within the various districts.
Salina Bamba beach is right in front of Villa Salina; a little to the east we meet the beach of Cala Brandinchi and immediately after that of Lu Impostu, all reachable with a walk of no more than thirty minutes in unspoiled nature.

San Teodoro
Not far from Olbia and its airport is San Teodoro, a small and lively trendy resort on the Costa Smeralda. A welcoming and peculiar country where it is possible to savor the unique atmosphere of the films that have marked the most significant period of Italian cinema.
It is easy to fall in love with San Teodoro walking through its streets full of typical shops, refined boutiques and first-rate restaurants, immersed in scents that make the place unique and unforgettable.
Fulcrum of art and inspiration, the center of San Teodoro offers the discreet charm of the churches of San Teodoro and Sant’Andrea and those who want to evoke the spirit of the tales that marked the Gothic period of literature.
San Teodoro is the closest town to our villas in Northern Sardinia, in particular to Villa Iris. In addition to a great typical atmosphere, this location offers everything you could wish for: nightlife, shops, bars, pizzerias and restaurants, as well as a huge number of sports, activities and exciting experiences.
San Teodoro boasts renowned beaches such as La Cinta and Isuledda.
Province of Olbia-Tempio
The province of Olbia-Tempio is one of the most famous areas of the island. This province is ideal for a holiday in a wonderful sea, rich in numerous bays and beaches of fine sand and where the crystal clear water has unique colors. The rich vegetation, nature, the sea and the imposing granite rock formations are the absolute protagonists.
Many flights reach the international airport of Olbia, especially in the summer (in 2016 there were 2,500,000 passengers transported).
Even the seaport of Olbia is connected daily to the peninsula with ships to and from Genoa, Livorno, Piombino and Civitavecchia.
